The first-launch “Me” profile
The short setup can store an optional display name, date of birth, formula selection, height, and weight. Date of birth supplies a current age where a formula needs it. Height, weight, and formula selection pre-fill compatible calculator forms.
A pre-filled value is a convenience, not a hidden calculation. The form remains visible so you can confirm the unit and edit a value before tapping Calculate. Update the profile later when your details change.
Formula selection is not a medical identity record
Some published equations use one of two sex-based constants. MedBud stores the option selected for those formulas so it can apply the corresponding equation path. It is used for calculator organization only and does not establish identity, diagnosis, treatment eligibility, or a clinical record.
Optional member labels
You can add local labels for a partner, child, parent, or another person and switch the active member in supported screens. This keeps reminders, records, routines, and calculator histories easier to separate on a shared device.
- A member is not a login or separate MedBud account.
- Adding a member does not contact or notify that person.
- MedBud does not verify identity, relationship, age, consent, or authority.
- Adult calculator references do not become pediatric guidance when a child label is selected.
Dated history
After an explicit calculation, MedBud can save the displayed result for the current date and selected member. BMI, BMR, and TDEE histories retain supporting details used by their established flows. Additional reference calculators retain the calculator name, displayed result, explanatory detail, date, and member label.
You can review recent results and delete an individual entry. A history is a personal log, not proof of clinical change, measurement accuracy, adherence, or improvement.
What stays local
The “Me” defaults, member selection, calculator inputs, catalogue searches, and result histories are processed locally. The developer service does not receive them during normal use. The current Google Drive backup does not include the “Me” calculator-default profile or calculator histories; see the privacy and backup guide before relying on a backup.
